Capt. "Shaka" Doug Corbin, a dive professional for more than 20 years with thousands of dives, wrote a blog titled, "Why I Love My Mor-Fin American Delfins" "Yesterday I made my third dive with my Brand New Morfin American Delfins and they absolutely ROCK! I've tried many brands and types of fins over the last 26 years and I've never kicked anything so smooth and light. These make diving as 'easy as walking on land'. Very minimal resistance and really good forward thrust. The New American DelFins don't put any strain on your ankles. They are light weight and efficient. The new "No Hassle Strap Design" really is just what it says it is too..."No Hassle". Easy to adjust and they don't get all hung up in my dive flag line. These fins are just plain "slippery"!
I put these fins to the test already with 8 months of diving the prototypes and now I finally have a finished product. I am very pleased and will probably never be in the market for another fin, ever! Hold them in your hands, put them on your feet. You will know just by touching them that these are special fins. They feel almost indestructable....practically bullet-proof! Try them out. You'll discover how easy it is to move in the water when you use fins designed for really fast and efficient pelagic fish!! Why did it take so long for someone to finally start selling fins like this????"
Jo Ann Sawyer at Ocean Sports, a seasoned diver and instructor wrote this, "When Lori brought in the Delfins to Ocean Sports, I thought this will never work in our shop. We are on the west coast of Florida with divers that like to spear fish and these fins look like a swim fin instead of a scuba fin. I agreed to try the fins when I took a group of divers to the Florida Keys. I loved them. I had so much fun wearing them and never had trouble with power or leg cramps. They also helped me on the boat. I can actually walk over and help students with the fins on my feet! Usually everyone is stepping and tripping over all the long fins, I was comfortable and in control. They fit in my bag so easily and are great way to start a conversation. Some of the spear fishermen are still calling me bait, but they are beginning to wonder what all the “buzz” is about. They are serious diving fins providing power without causing leg cramps. I am so glad that I gave them a try!"
“I don’t know if you remember me but I bought a pair of the mor-fins from you at Beneath the Sea Expo. Well, I tried them last week while vacationing in Florida and they do work great!!! Less kicking and no leg cramps !! A few kicks and I was gliding along…felt like I didn’t even have flippers on !! Real comfortable, easy to remove to get back on the boat plus I got great stares and inquiries as to where I got them. Of course I referred them to your website !! Anyway, thought you’d like to know !! Talk to you soon !! Ziggy”
Jacqueline Quan OWSIA couple of years back I was looking for a new pair of diving fins that were comfortable yet versatile for all swimming sports. By chance I knew a girl whose father invented a new shape of diving fin. Upon looking at the fins I was hooked and understood how the shape was inspired by the some of the best swimming animals in nature. After taking them on my first test dive in
South Florida
, I could immediately feel the difference of what these fins had to offer. Over the past two years I have dove with these fins across the globe, from the South Pacific Ocean to the
Western
Carribean
Sea
and they are the most comfortable piece of equipment I own. As an avid scuba instructor and free diver, I know the importance of being comfortable underwater. With that in mind, I choose only to dive with the best equipment and recommend to my friends and students the highest quality fin for comfort, stamina and maneuverability. Whether I am free diving for fish, teaching scuba diving to students, snorkeling for leisure, or swimming with whale sharks, one thing is for sure, that I will be wearing my Mor-fins. I love these fins!
